Now, if that's a 350 instead of the standard 305, this would be a perfect deal. Priced very reasonably, too.
If it is indeed a '91 then it is the 305. Nothing wrong with that though. I would drive it. Looks like a nice car and hopefully would be rust free if they spent their winters in Florida.
The last year that Oldsmobile offered a 350 that wasn't a diesel was 1980. For the '91 Custom Cruiser, the only engine available was the 305.
'92 was the only year the 350 was optional on the Olds CC of this era. Even the Roadmaster was limited to the 305 in '91.
Yes, it was a Chevy 350. The 305 was a Chevy motor, also. When people use the phrase "the" 350 in reference to an Oldsmobile, I immediately think that they're referring to the Olds 350. To my mind, the engine available in the '92 was "a" 350.
