As beautiful as the car is, it loses something, in my opinion, when it no longer has its original engine. As much as anything else, that's what made it a '63 Olds.
I agree, this car has been posted at least once before. I remember thinking the same thing about the engine transplant, I think someone just took the easy way out on the engine, they probably had a running 73 350 in the barn or a parts car. Cheaper and easier than repairing the damaged original Olds 394. I suspect the car does not drive as well with the smaller and lower compression 73 Olds 350. But at least it is an Olds engine not a 350 Chevy, or LS conversion.
