I want to do some sound deadening in my 63 Colony Park. Are there any gotchas for pulling out the carpet and seats? My front seat is a powered bench, so I'm not sure if that's going to pose a problem. Looks like the connector simply unplugs and that's it.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any pointers if you have them.

Yeah. Unplug the harness last, because you'll need the seat to move to undo the bolts. Move it forward till you can reach the rear bolts, then move it back till you can reach the fronts, and have a second pair of hands to assist in removing the seat. Carpeting, it's just the sill plates and any trim, then roll it up and carry it out. Needs two people for reinstalling.

don't mess up your seat belt anchors or belt ends. You cannot find replacement belts that have that style of end on them.
