Here are the plates on my car. I've had these for 30 years now. Been on many different cars over the years.

I don't have any custom plates, but my Uncle Marsh, who is a retired LEO, has two custom plates of his Idaho SP unit number, ISP 505 & 505 ISP. They've graced many cars each, including a Chevy Caprice wagon (late '70s?) and a mid-'90s Cutlass Cruiser. Those may have been the only wagons my aunt and uncle ever owned. After that, the plates went on minivans and sedans, plus a New Beetle.

I didn't get a picture as I was on the interstate, but last week I saw a little red Mazda something or other. Maybe a 6? But the plate said "not fast"

My 1987 Ford Escort had MODEL T 1. It should have been HALF FAST!

New computer not loaded with photos yet. Somewhere here is another thread about specialty license tags.
For many years here in Illinois when special tags were cheap I had:
USA 1955 on my 55 Chevy sedan
SHARP 57 on my 57 BelAire HT
R TOY 55 on the red and white 55 Wagon.
I only have the few photos so far that are on my new back ground and screen. Here's two that may not show R TOY 55 55 Daytona.JPG .

I don't have any custom plates, but due to a mix up Kramer ended up with these custom plates on his '73 Impala due to a mix up at the DMV...

I told my brother to get a plate that said "AG ION" for his silver Saturn Ion.

Well, Joe, ya gotta let everyone know...his Merc was nicknamed the 'Butterscotch Barge' by one of his brothers, so I told him to get a plate with 'BSBARGE' on it!

Kramer's plate reminds me of a couple 'good ones' from years past.
--In Florida, they used to have a single large orange on the '90s plates...until some guy got one that was 'A55 RGY.' When you read it with the orange incuded as a certain circular letter, it, well...you get the idea.
--And here in Washington State, someone requested 'GOTMILF,' citing that 'MILF' stood for something like "multiple in-line flange," or some such nonsense. A bunch of complaints flooded into the DOL about it, and every complaint specifically said what 'MILF' really stood for. He not only had to surrender the plate, but he had lied on the application, so he got a $750 fine for it.

My Custom 56 Chevy originally started out as a Wagon. The plate fits what I designed the car for.
