My wife has 5 sisters. One is single. Every week she gets one of these $10 phone cards and every weekend they're all at her mom's house and they yak, and yak and moan and groan and LTAO (Their) at their menfolk, for 5 (FIVE!!!) hours. Last weekend, they got on a tear about what their hubbies do or don't do around the house, to make themselves feel like Wonder Woman. My single sister-in-law lived with us for 2 years while she attended a couple years of English studies at one of our Universities.

Well the married gals vented, including mine, and the S-I-L came up with the fact that she had none. My wife's usual sense of humour kicked in and told her kid sister to imagine she had a Virtual Viejo (oldman), which triggered another sister to chime in about some online site where women 'design' their VV/VH.

Seems this one woman worked herself into a real pit of depression, comparing her Actual with the Virtual. V and she had two kids. A and she had none. Her common complaint was that the v-kids were such a burden and VV wasn't pitching in. She got up in the morning and killed her A hubby, thinking he was the V-hubby.

So, yesterday, the gals got going again on their 5-hour ragging fest. :D I was outside working on the dash conversion, minding my own business, and I hear my wife LHAO (Her), over and over again. My S-I-L got into the VV contest again, only to defend me from my wife's gnattering! We went and bought a new phone system so they could yak together on Speaker phone, and I came in for a cold drink and a whiz, and there was my hero stepping up on my behalf. My wife went red with embarrassment and told them I'd walked in. DEAD SILENCE, except for my S-I-L just going at it. I laughed so hard and thought about KK's Lawnmower joke.:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

Dad always said that the best thing a man can do when a bunch of women are in a yakfest is to just grunt wisely and shut-the-f-up! Laughing with, worked too. I'm still alive! :biglaugh:

Definately right! The plumbing and wiring are way too asyncronous! :biglaugh:

:biglaugh: They don't have much in the way of lawns down there (in Mexico ), so even if I translated it into Spanish (as a V-hubby), they wouldn't get it.

I'm past the cringing stage now, when I think about KK's contribution, for now. :biglaugh:
