Bidding ended at $18,100, reserve not met. I think the seller might have to lower his expectations. At least, if he wants to sell the car on eBay.

I hate it when people write 5 paragraphs of fluff that says absolutely nothing about the car itself.

Basically the seller is saying he's only owned the car for three months and doesn't know the first thing about it.

"Americana at it's best!" "fantastic memories of a time gone by when we designed, built and enjoyed the best cars in the world!" "I really feel you will not see a nicer one with out buying a $45,000 restored one!" I'm sold.

I was born in 1964. If anyone is interested in getting me a birthday present, I'll take it. LOL

I forgot about the B-J buyer's premium (10% for on-site bidder, 12% for absentee bidder). Assuming the current eBay seller was on-site at the B-J auction in November, he/she paid a total of $18,150 for the car in November, including buyer's premium.

Current bid is $19,100. The seller has a $950 profit, excluding all other expenses from the B-J auction (e.g. transporting the car home from the auction, etc.).

Price is going to have to go a bit higher to make the flip worthwhile.

Bidding topped out at $21,100. Reserve not met. Think seller set his sights too high.
