Got a bit nostalgic yesterday, for a station wagon I owned back around 2003 / 2004. It was a 2000 Audi A6 Avant. I purchased it off the used car lot of a Mitsubishi dealer down in Orange County. Had high miles - around 70k or so from what I remember. My job was now at a desk, so my company car was pulled, and I needed something.

I looked all over inside my computer for the pics I knew I took - couldn't find them at all. Then I got smart and checked right here on the forum. Sure enough.............found them.

This was a great wagon - as long as you were driving it and it didn't need repairs........

Really wanted a 'S6' Avant with the V8, but I didn't have the money for that. Should have just passed up the whole Audi thing.
Coming from typical American 'boats', the comfort and handling were really a joy, though.

Yeah, about the only way I liked a VW or Audi was when I was test-driving a customer's car.
