For those of you who do not know there is an actual Canadian TV show where folks are nominated to be Canada's Worst Driver. Yes friends, family members spouses, etc. enter their loved ones to be named Canada's Worst Driver. http://www.bellmedia.ca/pr/press/ca...nalists-revealed-casting-opens-for-season-12/ Weekly, entrants have to pass challenges that are set out for them, hopefully improving their driving abilities along the way. There are professional driving trainers to give them guides. Some of the challenges are pretty tough and every week these folks are driving a different vehicles, most are very large, which would be a challenge in itself in the world of tiny cars. We have seen them slowly torture BMW's a Brand new Camaro and Mustang and numerous other vehicles. The commercials that are running now show them driving a large clam shell wagon. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...094998EB4439C52B34D1094998EB4439C&FORM=VRDGAR
I wonder how many are actual dunderheads behind the wheel and how many are paid actors? Take the instructor for a ride, like in "Used Cars."
I've seen some of the shows, but not regularly. I don't know where they find these people, but you can't fake the sheer idiocy they show.
I would like to thing the "glamor cars" challenger, mustang ,camaro were doner mfg cars that were scheduled to be crushed anyway.
There was a letter writing campaign after they beat on that 300 a few seasons ago. They claimed that they weren't going to use classic cars anymore but this season they're going to give a pounding to a '69 Buick Sportwagon!!! http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/threads/unfair-treatment-of-wagons.11680/#post-104296 http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/threads/death-of-a-classic-wagon-on-tv.40208/#post-363552
I watched last weeks episode and the highlights for this weeks show was featuring a wagon like the one above...why would they destroy something like this?
