Interesting Canadian Pontiac, I always wanted a 66 or 67 Beaumont, but a 60's Acadian would be Kool also. How this one got to near the Sothern Boarder of the US would be interesting to know. Nice conversions done to it, they should make it much more drivable in modern traffic than the 230 I-6 or 283 2bbl/Powerglide it originally would have had.

Out of my price range though

It's on Craigslist in Tucson but according to the map it's in Washington between Everett and Bellingham.

It is a very nice car. Hard to tell in the pics as paint could just be worn off but the dog dishes look correct, the center would have the same logo as this full size one below......

I've also seen these on Acadians....

Well according to what I found on the web (so may or may not be true) the only engine choices for 62 & 63 were variations of the 153 I-4 or the 196 I-6 so not even any 230 I-6's let alone 283 V-8's. All that changed in 1964 when various V-8's were available.

I also forget that they were sold at Buick, Pontiac, and stand alone Acadian Dealers. So even though they have some Pontiac Styling, they are not in fact Pontiac's, Just Acadians. I did know that but I forgot until I looked it up today.

But I always considered them Pontiac's (incorrectly)
