Well, scored a grill from my friend in Missouri. It's in the mail as we speak. I can't wait to get it in.. as you can see, it's ready. received_1273661355985486.jpeg 20160826_222813.jpg

Success! That grille is the major thing that sets it apart from the Roadmaster and Caprice wagons.
A '92 OCC with a grill with the emblem inset and mounting hole filled like that was discussed here not too far back.
Is that off another car recently?
You can always put an emblem on later if you want, a good airbrush artist could make it look like one is there too...and it wouldn't fall off.

Yeah, I was totally disappointed that it had a caprice grill in it. Almost to the point where I almost passed on the wagon. It must have been a very minor bump, or they just simply took it out somewhere down along the line as there was no damage at all. I really wanted one with the emblem, but hey.. Couldn't pass it up. It should look way better in a couple of days when it arrives.

Well, it arrived and it's on. The color is off, but I'm not that worried about it. I plan on painting the car one day anyway. Much better than the caprice grill 20160830_220009.jpg 20160830_213416.jpg in my opinion.

You should be able to measure your original rims and figure it out. The original rims are 7 inch with a +6 backspace.

Great time to turn it into a Pontiac Bonneville Safari, and confuse everyone. (It's been done a couple of times before, at least.) It's got the split grill already.

All you need are some junkyard-sourced nameplates and emblems, some black, fine-line tape stripes for the tail lamp lenses, and a set of 5x5 Pontiac Rally II wheels.

Turning an Oldsmobile into a Pontiac would be like turning a Cadillac into a Buick.:rofl2:
They do have Poncho-like cladding? :D

I believe it's just an accent paint color on the lower third, not separate molding pieces.

For as rare as our cars are, it's amazing to see there's at least three in a somewhat close area.

It is amazing how things tend to change without us seeming to notice. These cars used to be plentiful, and now they are rare.
