Well just heard back from Mick, it seems that the internet providers had screwed with his account and he does not have access to his original email account anymore, so he was waiting for me to contact him. All is well again as he has had the trim finished and waiting for a while for me to get the wagon to him to finish the job. I should have been smarter and just contacted him through his website earlier when I lost all contact earlier however hopefully everything will get going again soon enough. Cheers Mike.

The project has been taking so long, and you're waaaaay over there, and the wagon's here, I was starting to wonder if it was ever going to get done. Good time to put things in overdrive.........

I emailed Mike Richter. He says the wagon is still in California but the restoration is nearly complete. He said he would provide an update to the forum when he had time. Meanwhile, here is a pic.

Can anyone see the pic I posted with my last message? When I move to edit it, I can see it but not otherwise.

This man has the patience of an angel. My God has it been three and a half years already? Looks beautiful though.
I see he didn't reapply the black rubber strips on the bumpers. My 77 cp had that as an option and I really like the look. Anyone know how that rubber is applied to bumpers. I had assumed it was bolted through the back on fords but I see no bolt holes on his bumpers.

I asked Mike about that. He had the bumpers re-chromed and the chrome shop threw out the original black rub strips as trash without even asking if he wanted to keep them. He is going to try to find NOS ones. That may be a challenge.
