Hello fellow wagon lovers. It was only a matter of time before I discovered this forum... I currently have these wagons: 1991 Volvo 240 Wagon, one of my favourites 1998 Suzuki Wagon R Wide, like a 20kg sack of basmati, with a nasty sneeze 1998 C34 Nissan Stagea 25X Four Wagon, heaviest of the fleet I also have: 1990 Volvo 940 GLE Caravan, which used to be a wagon. 1989 Ford Courier/Mazda B2000 'ute', bought new by my old man, 5x the power thanks to me 1994 Mazda Lantis Type R, 5 door hatch isn't quite a wagon, but... 3 2-door cars 3 sedans Which aren't wagons, but are close, or were, or plain aren't I used to have: 1992 Volvo 740 GL Wagon, US road trip in 2009, bought for 2k USD, drove 20kkm/13.5kmiles, sold for 1k USD Pictures (of the wagons, and wagon-like vehicles): Volvo 240: Nissan Stagea: Suzuki Wagon R Wide: I also have section: Volvo 940 Caravan: Mazda Lantis Type R: 1989 Turbo Truck: I used to have section: Volvo 740: As you can see, I like wagons :-D Fred.
Thanks! Yeah, I like the diversity I also like engines that spin over 7k reliably. However I'll put that aside one day in order to convince my friend Chris in LA to sell me this chev wagon of his, which might be more to your tastes Can anyone identify what it is exactly from that terrible screen capture with various other chevs sitting in the way?
It's a Chevelle surrounded by secret service vehicles. You'll need more than metric wrenches in your tool box to work on that.
We have a winner! I think There are actually two of them there, almost the same, but different facelifts. Ha! I have a master plan, it's just not obvious to those in the real world ;-) LOL, very true. I have a box of imperial half inch SK Wayne sockets somewhere, and a random collection of ring spanners, also dusty. Will they do? The trouble is, my oldest car, a 54 beetle, is all metric, so I don't see any reason why anything more modern shouldn't be! Even my dodge-ram sourced Holset is all metric Thanks! Yeah, they each have a different charm. Think of it as automotive polygamy, and legal.
I would recognize those tail lights anywhere. You see they are the same as my Beaumont...was that cheating??? Either way was there a prize?
Hmmm, I wonder if one of them is a Beaumont and the other a Chevelle? I definitely preferred one strongly over the other due to front end styling. Nah, not cheating, no prize, though, sorry. But if you're even in Auckland/NZ you can take a ride in which ever of my wagons are running and/or legal
That's funny that you say that, I love the front end of my Beaumont...it's a grill thing. Do you have pics of both of the grills?Your in New Zealand? Awesome! My sister and I are saving our Air Miles right now, we're thing about going to Australia.
I may have better pics of those cars somewhere in a deep dark folder with thousands of other photos, but the chances of stumbling across them are low, and I'm out of time at the moment with some really important stuff to take care of. Have fun in Ozzy, and if you duck over here, don't forget to say hi I have a friend with as many yank tanks as I have of jap crap Might be able to tee him up, too.
