Hi all, the diaphragm of my cruise control servo of my 76 Olds has a large hole and can't be fixed. I checked Rockauto but can't find a partnumber. Does anybody know where to find a replacement? Thanks for helping!

To my knowledge that rubber part is not reproduced nor is that style of servo. The '67-72 styles are available, but not the later ones. Good used is your only choice right now.

I know it looks a little shot, but with the fact it's looking like you may throw it away anyway, what about a hail Mary play with a bike tube repair kit? The rubber is likely the same formulation as an inner tube, so why not try that?

The diaphargm is really cracked and more holes will be coming shortly...which is strange that there is no replacement since eventually all rubber will dry up.
Has anybody tried if a diaphragm from a different Cardone or Dorman unit will fit if it has the same diameter?

I can't remember on those older ones--does the lock ring come off? It seems like they were like the more modern ones, where the ring is crimped in place, but I could be wrong. It's a design that went all the way to the late Seventies or early Eighties, isn't it? What about a Pick 'n' Pull run?

That one is for a newer model, the '76 type is just the servo without that module IIRC. The bellows could possibly be retrofitted if the circumference is the same, you can buy that type new from Cardone. Is the the vac fitting on the bellows or is that just being held there in the pic of the worn servo? I had one that looked just like that years ago that I sold on evilbay but the vac fitting was on the metal back plate. It was for a '75 Olds, part number 551095 superceded by 12309832, been discontinued for years.
I'd get on the Classic Oldsmobile site and post in the parts wanted section, lots of traffic and there's a good chance somebody will have one or can point you in the right direction.

Cruise control on the '72 and earlier cars uses a different servo:

It's much more robust, plus since it shares the same bellows as the GTO\Chevelle\Corvette of that era, it's reproduced and replaceable unlike the '73+ units that have zero options besides good used.

I was looking at that, if someone would have that servo as a spare I would be much obliged!
