The car is nice but what do you do with a car like that? If you're going to have four doors you might as well step up and get a wagon.:D
The seats look like they're made of the same blue velour material they used to make the tunics for TV's Star Trek?o_O

Yup, that's velour for you. But at least the driver's seat doesn't have its gut sticking out....

Super light? I never heard of that! What is it, a 747 landing light?

No it was an Optional Quartz Light that supposedly did not blind on coming drivers but was brighter than High beams. Cost around $50 when new. Actually a lot of cash for the day. I had one on a Polara back in the 70's but it was burnt out, and I was to cheap to spend the $10 for a new bulb (I was about 17 at the time and would rather spend that on beer! or girls) I later found out it was illegal to use in Colorado at the time. Probably why the previous owner did not fix it.

Stands to reason I wouldn't have seen this as a kid; Mom and Dad never bought Mopar, nor did anyone I knew that I can think of. Only my brother Geoff had Mopar cars when he was driving--the Dog Fart, a '69 Dodge Dart with a Slant Six/three-on-the-tree, some Chrysler big boat with a non-functioning electric bench, and the previous owner was a Munchkin, and two Plymouth V6 minivans (both had the 3.3L). Very interesting how it was used to illuminate the right side, but Colorado banned it!
