Our neighbour suggested I go on Google Maps and check out our street video. So I did. Check out the link... https://www.google.ca/maps/@45.1372...4!1sxv5Vp8VMXhoMq74i-AbiLg!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Hopefully this works if not let me know.
I see your station wagon parked on an alligator skin pavement street. I'm on my tractor cutting the grass right next to the road in the street view of my house. My wagons in the garage with the door closed unfortunately, have one aerial view of it, easy to identify by the roof window.
If you go back up my street, then come back down, you can see me turn the corner and wave to the guy. Kinda fun...
You Canadians are too nice. You should've given the Google camera car the single-finger salute after it passed.
I googled some of the address of previous owners of my wagon, and saw a couple of pics of her long before she was mine. Amazing stuff Ol Google, that's for sure.
I just googled my address. Lo and Behold. My wagon is sitting in the driveway. How could they pick the exact day to drive by when that occurred in 2013. No subsequent pictures since.
I was able to find pics (of the same owner) in 2008 and in 2011, but when they went back in 2014, no car then. I've Google my current address, but you can't see down the drive far enough. If you zoom out 1 'click' you can see the wagon under the cover on the drive. I guess it's totally random as to when the Google mobile drives past? Cheers
Nothin' much happening at my place. This was taken in August, 2011, before I had the Way Back Machine. Out front is older daughter's 2004 Focus, which she still has (160k+ miles, still on the original clutch). She lives in Lincoln City now. If we were home, there would have been the 2003 Explorer and 2006 HHR in the garage.
My wagon from 2007 was in front of the house I used to live in. My house from 2014 even had another wagon I owned in the driveway... Nothing in anything else though.
The lane we have our house on in Illinois is so short the Gogglemobile didn't go down it. I can just get a view from the main road down the lane. Same where we live here. I can get sky views of both but that's all. The lot with the white shed in trees.
I think it's awesome fannie, really awesome for the fact you were driving and not like (mine included) just seeing pics of "our" cars in the driveway And be a complete looser for the world to see.... Are you upset because rather than "blurring" out the license plate as they do, they "blurred" out the Ranchrusto completely where you park/drive?
Google Street view is exactly what it says--"Street." Not the back yard, off the alley, where the Ranchero is currently parked. And anyway, I said what I said simply as a joke. Only a mook would try to be so crass.
Can someone explain to me the difference between Google Maps, and Google Earth? I use G.E. a lot, but can't figure out this Google Maps thing - couldn't get it to work like Jenn posted up.
