image.jpeg image.jpeg So after ordering the Ford Racing EFI harness for a 302 a few months ago, I finally had the opportunity to install it. You have to relocate the computer from the drivers side fire wall to the passenger side kick panel. The harness is based off of a Mustang set up so you have to extend some connectors to work on a Squire. I had some over heated connectors in the steering colum I had to also replace. The harness does not include pins in the computer connector for VSS or EVAP canister purge so I had to remove those from the original harness and pin those in. The car runs so much better it's like having a new car, well almost. The harness is also set up for mass air but my wagon was already converted. It's a good quality part all the connectors and wires look like factory original.

How much are you into just the computer wiring?

And I just had a thought--Rancheros have the blower motor in the right kick panel. I'd have to put it up under the dash, I think.

The Ford Racing harness was $540.00. They are generous with the length of wiring from the engine connectors to the 60 pin connector for the PCM so if you have to mount it elsewhere you should be able to.

Good. I always wondered about that. I'll just be going with a Mustang A9L computer; what did you go with?
