    So this last week has been a bummer, culminating in me getting aced out of $205 potential dollars with which to line my pocket. First, that Motor craft 4350 carb I have, the one for the 460, I almost had sold Friday. UNTIL. The "buyer" texts me after attempting to call me, informs me he found a free carb he was going to use instead. F#$%@&%$#¢¥£℅K!!!!! One lousy hour. I was to meet him at 2:30, and he texted me at 1:30. Sonofab!tch!
    Then, yesterday, I got a bid from Pick 'n' Nose for $65 for my bro's '90 Town Car...UNTIL...there's a paperwork problem. My brother, who is in the hospital right now, had changed his name two years ago, from "Jeffrey" to "Geoffrey." But he never filed for a replacement title, so the gal I talked to found the discrepancy, and had to "talk to the boss." S#!t. In order to make the transaction go through, he would've had to take his current license and a notarized copy of his court papers to PnP before they could by the car. Bye-bye, $65!!!
    So please, take pity on me...buy what I have for sale. These are tremendously screamin' deals (not 'free' screamin' deals)!

    Okay, maybe one Barbie Doll if we bent her double and removed her shoes.:biglaugh:
    Oh you still meant the Caddy? :huh:

    I'll buy some of your stuff if there's free delivery and tell Jeff his original name was more manly.:evilsmile:

    Down here a title transfer is over $85 so you will clear -$20 at the Pick-N-Butt.

    Pick 'n' Butt. That's a good one. Dad calls them either the Scratch 'n' Sniff, or the Sniff 'n' Seats.:thumbs2:

    And the car's gone, so a moot point now anyway. The world turns and life goes on.

    Dad wanted Geoff to have this version because he wanted to name him after an ancestor, Geoffrey William Merryweather. Mom dropped the ball when she assumed Dad wanted the other spelling.

    And if there's free delivery, the part's price goes up to make the shortfall....:tiphat::2cents:

    Names have a way of changing. My wife has always been Dollie but liked Dolly.
    She was 62 and had to get her birth cirtificate from Minn. for SSI. On it she was named Dolly.
    Too late to change now, then she would no longer be my wife Dollie.
    Wait! :p I see a plan...............................:evilsmile::LOL::16suspect:

    You hear about that new roadster called the Mob? It has a hood...under the engine. And it has a gorgeous body...in the trunk.

    We need to hurry before price goes back down. Sometimes those shoppers of Wal-Mart work there too!
