Hello everyone! I drive a 1968 Colony Park. I have owned the car for 3 years. I am the second owner. Its pretty well optioned with twin lounge seats, power seat, power locks, AMFM radio, factory window tint, and AC. It was originally a 390 car but as that was removed long ago when the car was parked. I opted to drop in a 428. Its modded with Sanderson shorty headers, a Comp cam, Nissan starter as the headers make the original impossible to fit, electronic ignition, larger fan, and a Summit Racing street/strip carb. The interior is all original except the top of the driver's seat. Future projects include reinstalling the AC and getting a new exhaust.

Welcome! Beautiful wagon! Where are you located? Wondering if I'll ever get a chance of seeing this one in person?!

Thanks for the greetings! I live in Carmichael California. It's a suburb of Sacramento. I actually drive it near daily so you might see it anywhere around the area if you live close.

Nice Montego! You just don't see many old Mercurys, wagons or otherwise, around anymore. Cougars being the exception. I see those quite often.

I'm in Georgia, so its doubtful I'll run into you. I bought my Montego from the 2nd owner, from your side of the country. He's from San Francisco.

Welcome aboard. I love your car, especially since it's motivated by a 428. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I love your Fury. The 428 really hauls and is super smooth with the C6 auto tranny. It feels like you can cruise down the highway forever. What kind of motor does yours have?
