:anyone: I will be investing in new front seat foam and springs, complete rebuild of the A/C, new carpet and a bare metal respray. When done I will have 25 to 27 in it. Do I need to seek medical help?

I dunno. We all need a Louisville Slugger upside the noggin for our hobbies, that's for sure.

This is what I was asking myself upon my latest repair to the Suburban in regards to the power steering rusting through.

... But in regards to your wagon, do recall these good ol' cars aren't so common anymore. It's not a 20 year old car anymore.

That one's a year shy of 45. Anything you do now will keep it around for that much longer.

probably better for the environment if you keep the old girl and fix her up rather then replace with a new car contrary to what the green environmental weenies will tell ya

Aren't too many Chevelle wagons out there. Plenty of Chevelles for sure, just not too many wagons. I say keep it on the road by doing whatever it takes!! ;)
