This is pretty neat and an unusual subject matter. This will be resin, not diecast and won't have opening features. However, I got their '74 Imperial and it is impressive and well detailed. https://www.american-excellence.com/v2/index.php?p=details&i=200860
I noticed this one. As a collector of 1/18 scale cars for years (probably have about 400 in my collection), I have been wanting to see manufacturers start making some 60's wagons. The Vista Cruiser was a great choice for a classic 60's wagon. The grille looks a bit off to me though. When I saw the picture it made me think of a 69 Torino Talladega.
Despite the fact that this scale model is expensive and has no opening doors and no opening hood, which means no under hood detail, I would buy this model...if only the front end didn't look like a 69 Torino Talladega. Not sure how they could have screwed up the front end so bad. Its not just the grille thats not right. The slope of the hood is wrong and so are the leading ends of the front fenders.
The size of the headlight lenses, the gril!e, and how far out they stick are what caught my eye. I'm sure a master modeller could solve those problems and make a better-looking model.
