I like this type clamp for fuel lines with extra pressure ,they don't cut as they tighten

I've never seen those before-------^^^^^-------- They do look better. Chrome fittings of any kind can be a pain.
I've tightened clamps so tight they cut into the rubber hoses also. It's always best to use two clamps and check the fittings now and then.
Still modern hoses and fuel are crap!:slap:

Those look like the style Mopar uses for any high-pressure line, especially on the fuel filters underneath.

I would never use worm gear hose clamps on pressured fuel lines. There is a tendency to overtighten them and they damage the hose. The preferred ones are the clamp-on kind that once crimped are not removable. You have to cut them off. These are usually supplied with most applications. The other alternative in a screwdriver tightened clamp is the Adel style.

The effects of the new fuel on cars that is not driven on a regular basis is destructive on fuel pumps ,hoses carbs and such. I have found that Lucas ethanol treatment works to help with these issues. Since using it for a couple years with no problems. th.jpg

Yes, will this wagon ever see the light of day again after it was destroyed in a parking lot and left in garages to rot? :slap:

The tail lights alone are worth a few dollars!
