Yup..it's a nice one. Would have liked it better if he would have opened up that rear cargo hatch.

I'm not getting a good feeling on this one. Something doesn't look right about those bucket seats. I'm not at all sure they were even available on that wagon. Is the owner passing them off as a 'rare option' when they were done by an owner? Looks like they're crooked or twisted, too.

A friend of mine had a red wagon like that with bucket seats. I believe the vinyl seats had a western motif embossed on them.

The seller says this Invicta wagon was the top of the line model?
I thought the Invicta was the bottom?

KK you are right those buckets were added even the seatbelt placement behind the seats are for a bench not buckets. The factory never exposed the seatbelt bolts that much.

Since I posted this I have had second thoughts about this car. While the body does look good I have never...and I could be wrong...seen a LIGHT blue car on black. Maybe they did it back then but I have never seen one before. He mentions that he installed new cargo carpet. Was that to match the black interior he put in from another car? OTOH...the dash IS black. I agree, though...something is not right with this car.

I think it's grey. Here again...I'm not sure if during this year/era all headliners were the same color in wagons.

During the 60's unless you special ordered a car they all came with a matching interior.

Check out www.trinketsandjunk.com There is a red 63 Buick Invicta wagon on there and it's got buckets in it. So the seller of this wagon maybe right. As for the seatbelt placement, those could have been aftermarket,or dealer installed . The seats looking crooked, they might not be adjusted good. Sometimes the wire underneath that connects to the seat tracks may stretch , therefore when you do the adjustment one side moves while the other does not. I guess that's my take on this. That Buick does look really good. Whomever gets this car should try to get that red one for parts if they can.

Hey...I like that site HillBilly! Thanks for that post.:D
    Edit:
Well...everyone knows I do NOT like light blue cars...although, I like this car but do NOT like the color combo. You are right about the seats and belts, HillBilly...I have seen belts like this in cars from that era. And...many cars' seats ARE tilted to a degree toward the center but, as you point out, they can get out of adjustment and exaggerate the slant. If not for the color combo I could be interested in this car.

I thought the exact same thing when it was newly listed, crooked seats!

I'd like to see the underneath where they are attached to the floor, I bet it has hardware store bolts!

    Nice looking wagon though!
