There was a guy that was with me when I got the stuff and then he got some a few years later. I'll see if I can find him and if he knows the name. Otherwise I will go to the Body Supply place when I next go to Madison. Another possible coincidence .. I was thinking that it was a 3M product. I just can't remember. I used to have a memory like a steel trap. Really...I had a photographic memory too. I could read something and tell you what book it was in and the page it was on and its position on that page years later. It angers and frustrates me that those things and others were wiped out by 2 strokes in '97. For example...I can no longer do anything with numbers. Totally gone.

Used to be like that too. Still am in some ways. No strokes though. Somewhere along the line, probably from writing computer programs, I realized that I only needed to remember the goal, the destination, and then lookup the details. Less baggage in the caboose and more room for the worthwhile stuff. There's only 36 billion memory cells in the brain, and I try to do spring-cleaning every evening. My wife on the otherhand, plays back her collateral daily dust in her dreams and can't sleep some nights. :D I sleep like a newborn, and come up with new ideas, almost every day.

Keywords. Then one thing leads to the next.

Math is my fav. Keywords. Grab my old math books from engineering and find an online calculator do get what I need. It's in the old coco, but frustration, which has its motivating aspect, is often a block to the solution/answer for me too.

    Thanks,

I'll look into this product, I think I may have seen it at crappy tire. It sounds like a better product for the lower stripe I'm looking at doing, I originally thought of a black Tremclad, but your suggestion might offer better protection against chipping.

Nice car, H! I wish I could have dealt with the guy on that one on ebay. As time went on he got more and more greedy. He didn't even get a bid last time around. Since he sold it and then it mysteriously came back on ebay again it probably scared some buyers off. Who knows what happened to his sale? Did the buyer walk away because of some problems that were not disclosed? Who knows? If it wasn't half way to Asia I'd go take a look.

I hear you, have you considered the one in BC, not much closer unfortunately, but maybe somebody on this forum might be close enough to have a look at it for you?

Trouble with that one...the pix suck. Even the new ones. Can't see it well enough. And...it's white. I love the color on the other one in CA.
