Very nice. Too bad about the non-original motor. At least he has it.

That's really nice....a Chevelle I can live with. Looks like it's got some good option boxes checked off.

Yes, it is. But back around 1975 or 76, my younger sister and her husband had a '69 Concours (no 'Estate' / wood grain) equipped very much like this, including power windows. I REALLY wanted that station wagon, but apparently I didn't make my interest in it that well-known, because one day, it was just gone, and they were driving a different car......

The seller does not have the best feedback sadly. Also, looks like a couple of minor touches are needed... clean/detail the door panels and put a pad on the brake pedal.

Up to $12,100 and still counting, with reserve still not met. This is getting exciting, lol.

Thanks for that. I figured about 20+ is what they were looking for. Looks like everyone wants to cash in on the "station wagons are HOT thing. That's a nice car now, but why a big restoration on a California car? I like em unrestored myself.
by the way, why does the guy capitalize every word at the end of his craigslist ad? weird.

Front light monitoring option. Did not know it was available for Chevelle until now.

    67 68 Chevelle SS396 Caprice Impala Rare Option - $549

You can have probably the rarest, or one of the most rare, 67 & 68 Chevelle Options offered. The GM Vigilite lamp monitoring system (RPO code U46) was both an RPO (factory installed) AND dealer installed ultra rare Chevrolet option. This is a fiber optic light lamp monitoring system for Chevrolet 67 - 68 Impala Caprice & Chevelle, except convertible.

    As is, as shown: $595.

With new correct lenses and chrome fender bezels: $725

Complete, Installed, Show Quality System: $1250
Correct with new Lenses and New Chrome Fender top Bezels. I'm a former Chevrolet Dealer, GM factory trained, Body and Paint Technician experienced in restoration and show car judging. I enjoy my passion for classic GM vehicles, and will treat your car as if it were my own.

    U-46 Vigilite Lamp Monitoring System

1967 & 1968 Chevrolet U46 Vigilite Lamp Monitoring system option, missing the easy to find - small parts that are universal to many years and models of Chevrolet cars. The black, package shelf mounted, rear lamp monitor head is in "Near NOS" condition and VERY RARE, it is specifically designed for the '67 and '68 Impala, Caprice, Chevelle, Malibu and SS396 coupe/sedan and hardtop only.

Note, the rear unit is for all, except convertible and station wagons. The front units are correct only for Impala, Super Sport, SS 427 and Caprice models - all body types. The front units can be made correct for all Chevelle and Malibu, if correct, new aftermarket lenses are installed. These lenses are now on order and available. Please, ask questions, look at the photos!!! Please do your research! This is my passion, not a money making business!

VERY RARE rear monitor is in near NOS condition, but fiber cables are cut. These can be replaced with stock cable. Front fender mounted units are in average condition and complete but could be rebuilt with available new lenses and chrome housings. The light collectors for parking/turn signal lamps are in good condition, the fender mounted internal lens holder and fender grommet are in good usable condition. Reproduction Corvette parts can be used to make complete system. Sold "as is", or complete and installed, guaranteed correct and functioning properly. Study the pictures, do your research.
