Nickn44, You won't have a problem selling it for $4,000-$4,500. You sent me some more pictures of it and it's a great project car. Shells are selling for $2,500-$3,000 and then the front bumper is another $200. Good small block Chevy will fetch $600-$1,000. Of course all these keyboard jockeys will freak out if you sell it to a demo guy and he strips it to demo. GLWS, Wish I had the need for it, but with 3 other driver wagons I can't justify a fourth!!!!

Actually you sold a Poncho for 3500 for the derby last year didn't you? These are more desirable also because they are shorter and a tad tougher. good SBC's here are 500 or less but are getting harder to find, unless they are rebuilt. These front bumpers I would NEVER pay that kind of money for as I have seen them snap in half dead center on the backing plate(however for a driver who cares lol).
However a good 74 Chevy pointy is a different story as would be a good poncho bumper. he can probably pull the 4000-4500 to the right guy. No doubt. Maybe he should post those "more pics' so others can see what you did.

How do you do it Randy? I can't even sell a driver 73 Bel Air wagon for $3000.

^^^^^LOL. I guess I just have the right connections sometimes. I'm interested in your Belair if your serious about selling it. I almost bought it when it was for sale earlier this year

I think $4K is more realistic, just from what the pictures and narrative show. Some pics of SOLID floors and frame areas would bolster your asking price, along with a working air conditioner.

Car is staying in WI.. going to a fella who has no interest in wrecking it. I had no less than 2 others that were going to take it had the deal fell through. Much more than your estimates and could have pushed for more without a doubt but it was more important it went to a good home. Thanks for your interest and the car will be missed after 12yrs in the family.
