Nope, just obsessive with wagons-can't get enough. If the job offers $80K with benefits and a good retirement plan I'm up....lol

The more I see of the early/mid 70's mid size, I really am starting to like the Chevelle/Torino wagons.

So, I have to ask. Why is this NOT a Concours Estate?

I will find em and list em on the forum, somebody needs to assist and post the picture.....it ain't easy finding these cars, I spend hours at a time....I'm preaching to the choir...anyway I find em, you(the forum)critique em, catalogue em, and grill em, that way when they come around on the block again we know pricing, mods, and value.

Keep up the good work, and it's good to be among enthusiasts that are unrelenting in their quest for good metal. Saw that restored amber 1965 Country Squire in the garage section of this forum, just an inspiration for me to see what these cars can be, that is the perfect example of hard work in the search and restoration....end result enjoyment for 2 lifetimes, the one of remembrance of what these cars trigger in our heads, the other in todays reality.....they ain't making them like they made them......no computer, no bluetooth, no gps, good old fashioned american know how.....anyway I enjoy putting my free time into this search. so whoever responds to my post please post a picture with your critique of condition, value, and history of the car if you know and have seen it before.

    Best,

    Scott

Just jokingly referring to the condition of this particular wagon and not its name plate!

Keep up the good work, Cheers Mike.

Concours Estates are extremely rare (at least as far as I've seen) and Chevelle wagons generally bring big bucks, but in this condition...

At $4200 plus the cost to repair all that rust + the tired paint + the weathered woodgrain, I think even with the money Chevelles can bring, you'd still be into this car for more than you could get out of it. Admittedly, it would take a lot of looking, but eventually you could find one in much better shape for less than it will cost to put this one into equal condition. Now, as a project car for someone who can (and wants to) do a lot of the work themselves, it might make sense.
