Where is the best place to find interior carpet to cover the panels inside my 73 impala wagon. Im looking at covering the panels in the rear like the metal decking.

Most of the fitted auto carpet suppliers also sell matching yardage carpet material. I bought carpet for my Vista Cruiser from Auto Custom Carpets and bought additional flat material for the bottoms of the door panels, seat backs, etc.

    interior carpet?

Good luck with that one and if you find an outfit that will do that let me know, I have the same issue with my 64 Squire. It's not the metal I'm worried about, its finding replacement vinyl inserts. The well is dry.

SMS sells the flat vinyl material for the load floor. As with the carpet, this is simply roll material by the foot. You need to cut it to shape.

thanks Joe. I knew SMS made repops for my door panels but at $850 a set for my driver quality Squire, I'm not ready to pony up until I give the vinyl respray a try. I'm wondering after 50+ years, oils have sunk in to the vinyl that I can never get out. The cargo vinyl is definitely on me radar.

I just had them covered with the same material has the seats and had a carpert insert made with the same that is on the floor. The back of the seats I had the same carpert added .When all the seats are down it matches the sides on the wheel wells. SMS made me 4 new panels for my 64 and they are perfect.:2_thumbs_up_-_anima
