Soooooooo, what did he get????? maybe a................ Congrats Mike....I think!? A little info would be nice Glad ma is well....but just what does the other parts mean???
Mike, you are the winner of the "you suck!" award! Sweet T-Bird for the price of zip! can't beat that deal. Nice interior, too! The paint even looks decent-enough to try to keep as-is with a good compounding and polish, or perhaps even a ScotchBrite pad and dish soap. You could sand the top down and paint that white, assuming you don't have any big holes to fill in. Bing-bang, you have a nice driver! Since Ontario plates have looked pretty much the same since the '60s, how long has this Ford been parked?
It is a 76 Thunderbird with the 460 4bbl. I'm using the phone, and posting pictures from FB just doesn't work. That is the original paint, and yes it is in really good shape, just dirty. There are some holes in the roof from the vinyl top, which is why it is being given to me. I can parch them temporarily and fix them right later. As long as the body is good, I will do the roof white. If I have to do the whole body later, then no vinyl, and it will all be done in that correct blue. The interior is mint and she only has 80,000 miles on the clock. She hasn't been run regularlynforn10 years, but was moved in the driveway a year ago. When I went to her, she started on her own power. Did not even need a boost. Looks like there is nothing major needed at all.
