Mayday, Pimp Down, went out for a drive the other night, all was well, drove around and back home just fine. Go to take it out last night and the engine sounds bad. I need Dr Buick Stat!!!

Bad in what way? Love that Buick 350X engine, by the way. Amazing, strong, and in stock form, wonderfully fuel efficient, too. Most of the time, they go forever with no major problems. So, if you let us know what's up, or better yet, start a 'build thread' in the project section, I am certain that someone around here will pipe up with an answer. Actually, quite a few will, and some of them will even be right! LOL

haved checked allot, going to drop the oil pan to check the pump screen out.

It has to be a fluke sudden problem like that as it was fine the night before, then the next time started lots of noise.

I have oil PSI but its not making its way to the valve train.

since it was not on the road or driven when the noise happened, I hope it goes right back away as quick as it came.

Had to cut the scoop down also, day time was alright, but on a foggy night, it was hard to see.

Eyeballin one of these [ on bday list], seems more fitting with the scoop.

But if one is good, two has to be better?

wonder if I could mock up and adapter for two of them. When its nice out remove the scoop and just have them sticking out.
    Back on for foul weather.

see that excatly when I told the guy im buying it from, havn't picked it up, he pulled apart, checked, regasketed and asked if I wanted it touched up with paint, aasked if I wanted red or silver.

I told him to red everything as its all anyone said about my Buick 350 black and yellow theme, " glad its not corp blue but why isn't it red"
