That is nice! I was about to say, wow, a Canadian car with A/C, but reading the ad, it looks like it was originally a California car.
We've seen this one before. I was very interested in it at the time. As I recall, the price was $9950. Looks like this is a flipper, a Canadian flipper. Are Canadian flippers more rare? And it's even farther away this time! http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31233&highlight=bonneville
And the lower AC vents still aren't repaired. However, due to the camera angle and blurriness of the photo, you don't notice it as much. Below is the photo from the previous ad.
That's only about 3" longer than my '81. I think I could get it to fit in the garage. Now, about the money...........
Beats the heck out of me why someone would transport a vehicle all the way from California to Newfoundland and try to resell it there, where the market for a car like this would be much smaller. If he's a flipper, he's just not a very smart flipper. $CDN 13,500 = $US 12,050 (give or take) at current exchange rates. Still, a bit expensive. But a super nice car for all that!
Sporting the 11" aluminum brake drums (aka 8 lug wheels). My '65 Grand Prix had these. I miss that car.
This 66 Bonneville eventually ended up in Sweden. [/IMG] It's in a very good condition. It has had a repaint, otherwise it's a nice survivor
I could have bought one of these (white) way back in 1970 or so, if I had maybe $1,000 more. Saw it on a West L.A. Ford dealer's lot. But being a broke college kid, it wasn't going to happen. That's a beautiful wagon you have..... Marshall
