I went to a multi-makes car show last Sunday at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds where the hosting club picked their 3 favorite vehicles to receive awards, and much to my surprise, my 1970 Plymouth Custom Suburban (Fury) station wagon won one of them. I was out walking in the swap meet area and when I returned the award was sitting on the ground next to my driver's front tire. There were plenty of nicer cars, but I guess they probably liked it because so few still exist in this part of the country.
That's pretty Kool!!!! The only award my Wagon ever won at a show was the most Pathetic Classic car/owner combination!
About 80% owner 20% wagon, there is little love for the GM Boxie wagons in my town. But they say mine is a "nice example of" and then I somehow don't hear the rst of the sentence!
Congrats... Your right about your wagon being rare , Plus it looks mighty fine (That doesn't hurt either) !
