He listed it as a 73, but the rear bumper sure looks like a '74. I'm no expert, so I'll let the Torino guys weigh in.
I had a red 72 Gran Torino and all I can tell is the front is different. If this were under $5000 I'd be wanting to go to Ohio.
Not a '73 for sure - has to be '74-76. I chose '74 as seller may be going by the sticker on the driver door that it was built in late '73.
Gran Torino Squire This car is being FLIPPED! It was for sale last year on Craigslist for $5,000/BO AND at that time the Woodgrain was Beautiful! Probably bought it, then kept it outside over the Winter. Then wanted to make some bucks on it.
Are most flippers truck drivers? Notice how so many pictures are at truck terminals? Or do they take pictures there so not to show where they really live?
Yes, but for better results and less having to do it again and again use leather conditioner. much more waterproof when/if it rains.
On vinyl? Wouldn't that cause streaks when wet? I agree, the sides just appear faded and dull. A good cleaning with something would help.
He doesn't really do an awesome job at presenting the car. The pictures make the car look like a heap at a quick glance (poor angles, no interior shots, awesome close up picture of the speedo). I like the duct tape on the air cleaner inlet and what is up with the front fender alignment?
I can't tell if the door is slightly off or the fender. As far as the duct tape that just shows the guy may not be handsome but he is handy!
