$6100 reserve not met with two and half days to go. Auction ending should be interesting! :thumbs2:

After I read the ad over, this was the one I saw in Cali those years ago. Car went for 5K then. Well good for the seller, that is if the reserve is hit.
Otherwise he was on a fishing expedition.

    Ken,

At the time was it flat gray? That would make sense from the color of the bumper fillers.

No, it was red like it is now, there was a shot of the doors open and the jambs were the original body color, looked to be a golden color. The inside looked ok on those pictures, but it was a long time ago. I do not remember the bumper fillers being in bad shape at the time.

How can you be sure given there are no open-door photos of this one?

Just basing it on the color it is now, and the one I saw, the tip it was from California. I wasn't betting money on it, it was my impression. However I could imagine its one of the reasons the doors are closed, or they were to lazy to add those photos for the auction.

Final analysis, it really does not matter what I think about it.

Supposedly SOLD today at $6200? That seems suspect - reserve not met at $6100 but 'yes' at $6200?

I tried to send a message to the seller, but that box at the bottom where you have to enter a special code kept changing and never sent the email. Either seat to keyboard interface issues or the site stinks.
