That IS sad.. GET OUT THERE! I visit this yard at least once a month.. they have a great Mopar C-Body section that I constanly keep an eye on.. and they get in new arrivals quite frequently. They have a nice set of Bucket Seats out of a 71 Plymouth Suburban I want to snag for my T&C soon...

My little go-around at the junkyards, yesterday felt like disneyland. All those rides didn't move though.:biglaugh: But I did go to Univeral's playgrounds and disneyland, years ago (1985). Even saw my first Rolls Royce on a tow-truck, near Venice Beach!

A friend of my dad's during WWII worked at RR. They kept in touch after the War and he had moved up to Advertising. They were offering all kinds of perks to regain the market. One was the road-side recovery, anywhere. They'd fly a crew in by helicopter, to 'renew' the issue. If it couldn't be, they'd put you in a hotel, commensurate with the 'brand', of course, and tow the car to the nearest dealer and arrange a replacement car until you were back or the car was fixed.

They 'never' leave you stranded. was the slogan way back then.

google cw coach sales in cincinnati, they have some bargain hearses..

my love of wagons came from just loving anything that hauls alot of people, but my real love is an 89 colony park. it belonged to my dance teacher and for some reason i just fell in love with that car, its the one i mention in my intro.

im also a minivan lover, i have a minivan too... and im wondering what smell youre talking about.. mine has leather and still smells like new.

Jase, this company makes a safe "New Car Scent"::evilsmile: :biglaugh:

The Factory odours have had some bad press over the last few years, though:

This one from last July (2008), says the factories are doing better:

The old Genie-in-the-bottle trick sounds ok (top link). :biglaugh:

    EDIT: Here's the official report:

EDIT 2: Here's how to reduce the nasty effects, besides restoring it or burning it??

The TV show I got the slogan from, also explained the incredibly quick and complete road service you got with owning a Rolls. The AAA had nothing on the Rolls Royce service department, according to the show.;)
