Hubby wants me to start looking for body mounts for Fanny. Suggestions where I should start looking?
Is this something that can be found at Napa or Canadian Tire?

    fannie,
Being a fellow Canuck, I bet you will be tempted to use hockey pucks for body mount bushings.

There are MANY off-roaders who have done it, and a lot of hotrodders have used pucks for various body and core support bushings for many years.

I wouldn't do it, but I thought you might want to know that it HAS been done.

Just make sure you don't over-tighten the mounting bolts, or the bushings will look like this:

I have stopped along the highway and picked up a piece of semi truck tire rubber for transmission and body mounts.
I still think day old Dunkin Donuts are better because they are slightly flexable. Don't used the filled ones!
