Nice clean sort of car pretty basic though. Gotta love this... "Don't ask for pictures if you only have $2500 to spend, why ask for pictures of something you cant afford? Had 2 guys in a row do that, if you don't have atleast 3400...don't text or call. You can enjoy the car as you see someone else drive it by down the road.", and now we also know his bottom line as well! His quote sort of reminds me of the dialog from the end Pink Floyds another brick in the wall part 2 :banghead3:... "If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?" "You! Yes, you behind the bike sheds, stand still laddy!"
Well, at least he finally put up a picture... There's another picture of it here. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?p=339362#post339362 It looks fairly decent, aside from the big dent in the front passenger fender. If he's so reluctant to post pics, I sure wish he would at least provide a better description of it. How bad is the rust, and where it it? What options does it have, if any? It's nice he's priced it out of derby crowd, but still...
Interior is trashed and rust is above the doors and spare tire well. Needs front and rear seats redone, new carpet, and new lower door panels. I almost bought it and decided not too. If the interior was a little better I would have. You could buff the car and two tone the roof and have the rust fixed. The dent in the fender could mostly be pulled out but it would still be noticeable
You know, with some CL ads I'm tempted to send a message giving them some suggestions for a better listing. Don't think I would waste my time on this idiot. A couple of weeks ago my niece in Carson City, NV listed her Hyundai Tuscon for sale on CL. Mentioned on FB she wasn't getting much response. I re-wrote the ad for her, and she sold it in 10 minutes.
