I stumbled upon this one during a late-night internet search.

It's not too far from me. I'm considering saving it. Any opinions?

    - Power options work
    - Buick 350 that will run, but won't idle
    - solid car
    - wood grain faded and cracked
    - What's a reasonable price based on its condition?

Like I said in the other thread, looks shiny on the outside.

That would be the more rare Electra Estate Wagon. If its not rusty underneath, and the price is right, it would be worth saving. Besides the woodgrain, it looks like it would be pretty easy to clean up.

That 350 is a honey. Over all the carooks great. If the underside is good, that should be about $2,000, I would not think. Maybe a not more.

Well, I did it! I put a deposit on the '78 Buick. When the weather clears, I will complete the purchase and the wagon will be on its way to me. I'll keep you updated with news and additional pictures.

Great find and well worth saving! This one has the fairly rare and expensive Estate Wagon Limited option package (available only 1978-79)! Please post some more pics when you get it home! :yup: :bouncy:
