Hi there; I am happy to be on this forum with wagon guys. They are not that popular in TN. I had a 72 Chevelle wagon a few years ago that I spent 2 years building and the was totaled as I sat stopped for a postman. I have replaced that with a 95 Caprice classis that is now what an SS wagon would have been. Love the room and the ride. Here are pictures of my SS.
ss39669! Great looking wagon! I am one of the "watchers" on your eBay listing, lol. I would be bidder if I had the cash. Good luck with the sale.
Welcome to the forum. Very nice wagon. If they were all popular most of us would want something else. It's nice to be different.
Wagon popularity As my handle implies, I had a 69 Chevelle SS for 15 years. On a 6300 mi cruise to Oregon with five other Chevelles, 2 of which were wagons, I quickly learned the versatility of wagons. I found a 72 Chevelle wagon in AZ. a few months later and spent 2 years making it an SS conversion and other repairs and modifications. I had an accident and repaired it with a 70 front end. 28 days after completion I was stopped and was rear ended at 45 mph and pushed into the van in front of me. Two accidents in 4 months; I wasn't supposed to have this car so I sold the wreck. I bought a 96 Roadmaster wagon and got to really like it, had it 4 years now. I had seen the Caprice wagon online before and I hunted down the owner and he was willing to sell it to a good home. I had it on the Power Tour and the Woodward Cruise in 2013 and it is a true joy to drive distances. Thanks for the comments.
Nice wagon. Were those pics taken at a cruise local to you? The VW bus looks like a bus that I restored enjoyed for a while and sold on the internet.
Thanks the bus is the only vehicle that I have restored and lost track of due to being sold through a broker. Just a long shot I guess.
