Painting chrome should be a criminal offence, punishable by 5-10 years of driving a Prius. Or death. Whichever comes first.

What Wagon?

 

That car is about 90% my taste. I hate chrome. Absolutely despise it. But I hate shaved door handles even more. Not to mention removing the mirrors. One other thing I would change if it were mine, is the wheels. I prefer a painted wheel.

 

The car needs to have its' chrome bumpers rechromed and the grille, window and taillight surrounds stripped and re-anodized. I've never been a fan of monochrome on a '60s or '70s car (soooo 1997!). With that said, I'd dig owning this car!

To do list:

- Replace teardrop hood with stock unit (HATE those)
- Replace grill and taillight bezels with stock units
- Find 500XL console / bucket seats, reupholster to match
- Add A/C
- Add minor tasteful accent striping to break up the 'all black' look - maybe silver and orange.
- DRIVE and enjoy.
