Seems like a pretty decent car. I can't really see any visible rust. It has had a repaint though, so it's hard to say what's unerneath. Per Ad: For sale, final offer is a nice 1959 Edsel Ranger/4 door/V-8/3speed on the tree for sale. It still runs and drives, will need restore or hot rod, little rust, 95% complete. It will not take a lot to put this one back on the road, needs brake work, tires, and other misc; repairs. It came factory with 14"wheels/tires, and other features like seat belts. The odometer is showing 40,000 miles, possible correct? The car has a good Indiana title, found part of a Sunday newspaper, dated March 15, 1959, in the car, may have originated from Boise, Idaho. I purchased other parts, manuals, chrome trim, others, for the car, at an extra cost. I have other interests, and need to sell this one, priced to sell @ $2,000.00, a very good buy. I believe there are only 10,000 of these vehicles left. If interested call Jim Potter @ 513 891-5675 http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/4873760524.html If I didn't already have a project, I'd snap this one up. It is only a couple minutes from me, so if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll go look at it.
I like it but at 2K there are a few ahead of it in line on my watch list. Specifically a baby puke green '59 DeSoto sedan, a Torino wagon that's been posted and picked apart before on here, and a 4-door '76 Regal sedan (like Kojak drove but not brown sadly).
