Well look at what I bought today. I am so pleased. I have so many plans for it. Gonna be a great car. It is already well built just needs to be finished. It is a 1996 Federal Cadillac hearse. It has an LT1 with some wild headers, Dual exhaust with dual cats, CAI, reprogrammed prom for the engine and shift points. It has the start of a custom front end and cowl induction hood and fender vents. It has upper and lower rear control arms. AND it has a 14 bolt rear with a posi and 4.10 gear. It also has full custom gauges. The Speedo is the GPS kind. Most of the things I will be doing are body mods. I doubt I will touch the mechanicals much if at all. But air ride is being considered.

Cool start, can't wait to see what you do with it. I know it will be something cool after I followed your Olds thread a couple years ago! (y)

    Cool. I dig it.

Is that your wife on the phone talking to a friend saying, "You're not going to believe what he dragged home this time."

Not much actually. She knows it is good therapy for me to get out of the house due to my migraines. So if this helps she is ok with it. She just thinks Hearses are creepy. But between you and me I think she liked riding in it.

Then you need to take it cross-country to have Horny Mike paint it.

Yes those are wild headers can't imagine ordering those to fit that car!

Sweet ride. Just don't let X see it. He'll be trying to figure out how to get it from you. Keep us posted with updates.

A hearse! Oh man, I've seriously considered buying one myself on several occasions. After all, it's pretty much just a station wagon with less seats and more cargo space. Can't say I'd wanna sleep in the back, as I've done in the past with Ol' Beastie... But I dig them. Last time I checked, there was a pretty nice Buick Roadmaster-based hearse on my local Craigslist. If I had the cash... :)

    Lookin' good. Enjoy that beast!
