Very rare would have been a 421 Super Duty wagon.

A 326 with A/C would be my preference...

No 326 available in 61 or 62, the only engine options were 4 versions of the Slant 4, High and Low compression, 1bb and 4bbl versions. And a version of the little Buick 215 V-8. And a 421SD 61 wagon would be very rare as Pontiac did not make any. They made a very few 62 Coupe's only 2 or 3, and a few more 63 coupe's and wagons I beleive 6 of each.

All in all a Nice looking 61 with a Strong asking price for the condition, but not unreasonable. I would prefer a 215 Powered version with a power rear window. I do think it is a rare car, as most have been converted to standard rear axle cars, or drag cars.

Its hard to see in the picture posted, so I circled it in Yellow, it is the handle mounted under the dash, the round indicator in the dash just above the handle is the indicator for what gear is selected.
