http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/4806376111.html Have we seen this exact same car before? I recall seeing one from Ohio in the same color but it wasn't waxed and it had been in storage for upwards of 20 years, plus it had a carburetor that needed work. If it's the same car it looks to have been worked on; Now there's no engine. Then again, see the ad: "I have a 1971 Kingswood Wagon for sale minus engine. This car is a great restorable vehicle! 1 owner car! Been stored indoors for the last 12 years. A little blistering starting above the wheel wells. Inside the wheel wells are still in great condition. The pass rear dogleg needs a little attention. No other rust on car Again, this car does not have an engine. Everything else is there."
Nice first pic to get you to click on the ad, then the horror of the real car rears its' head. $1500 tops, in my book.
It looks like it may be the same car, but the first pic looks like it may have been a few years ago. I think it looked better with whitewalls and the original hubcaps. It looks like someone has removed the luggage rack and some of the exterior trim and put on 91-96 Caprice Classic wheels.
This should be fixed; Then there's this bubbling which should also be fixed: Also, if this is the same car I'm thinking of then yes, The previous ad was in Ohio and the seller was asking $3,000-$3,500 or so plus it didn't run then but it had an engine. It had been in storage for around 20 years and it needed a new carburetor, and yes the previous ad I'm thinking of is of a car that was the same year and model and finish. Does anyone else here recall that ad?
