Nice car, but I don't think the 3-point belts were a good idea. Ruins the '60s look. The only thing that would be worse is if someone tried to retro-fit airbags into the car. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Galaxi...c92935047&item=191437688903&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
I'd ditch the three-point belts. They look like crap and are out of place here. Granted, the owner probably has four kids and is uber-paranoid about getting pulled over for "unbelted passengers". Ditch the belts, install normal lap belts and go!

I would keep the belts. Not because of fear of being pulled over but for the safety of my family. Even the AACA will allow for safety upgrades...
Wrong or not, if the car is used for long distance cruising, especially if there are children in childseats or booster seats, the lap belts are needed. Safety before aesthetics in my book.
Looks pretty bad for the third row seats, but I have three kids and if my wagon gets used for transporting the family any distance, I will resign myself to adding the three point belts as well.
