1973 Pontiac Grand Safari

Yep, has the Grand Safari grill (same as Grand Ville), the Grand Safari hood emblem, Grand Safari interior - (luxury seats, 3-spoke custom cushion steering wheel and Grand Ville style door panels), Grand Safari badge on the gate, but cannot figure out why they put Catalina (which what was on the Catalina wagon) badges on this car. It is more of a Grand Safari than a Safari, but those badges are a mystery.

I thought maybe the fenders were replaced for some reason from a Catalina wagon, but they match really well with the rest of the car as far as color/wood-grain tone goes.

On that note, this old man is going to bed. lol.

 

Nice wagon! I would give up 10K for it if it looks as good in person...

 

Yeah, here is a photo of my 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville Custom hardtop sedan taken back in the spring... the Grand Safari emblem should be where the Grand Ville emblem is on my car, as shown as well on the wagon above that was posted...

It is a beauty for sure. Still not sure why it has "Safari" fender badges rather than "Grand Safari" badges.
