Good morning wagon members! I've been looking for a nice wagon for 3 months. Sold my 68 Camaro in hopes of finding a classic wagon. Hoping to take the family to Cabana Bay at Disney in the wagon so my kids can experience the way a family use to travel. Email me if you have a wagon you would like to sell.

Welcome to the nuthouse we call Home. Good luck on the quest. Check out the classified section. If you like a wagon and it is a ways away, surely one of our members could go inspect it for you. Sounds like a fantastic idea to get the wagon for a trip like that.

:Welcome: pumpgas! Good luck in your search. What make/model/era are you seeking for your trip? And what a great reason to get a wagon, btw! (y)

I like the early Impala and Galaxie country sedan/squire. The 69-71 kingswood is really sweet as well.

I totally agree!! Especially if equipped with the hide away headlights ('68-'69).

    Welcome to the SWF, Pumpgas!

    I like your idea....
You should be able to find something down your way. Climate is decent enough. Rust issues for those in the north result in long-distance searches and extra transportation expenses.

We've got an entire section of the forum devoted to finding wagons....
    http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16

I've recently taken a 2,000 mile round-trip in the Way Back Machine (pictured), and it ran like a champ the whole way (except for throwing a code causing the 'Check Engine' light to come on - probably carb issues (that I've still to address).

Tell us a bit more on your vehicle experience, and specifics on what you are looking for.

Big Red comes with a hefty near 40k price tag from what I was told (by the owner).
