Wow! SWEET Vista..........would like to see the write up on its build. Kinda funny to me that they compare a 70's Vista to a late model Ferrari.
I'm just waiting for the "It doesn't have power windows, that would be a deal breaker" comment............
In 2013 I had the opportunity to tour Lingenfelter Engineering with my son and some Corvette club members we met during one of my trips to Detroit. Ken is a great host and spends a lot of time interacting with his guests, answering questions and showing his collection. He liked my design on my 56 Chevy ElCamino Conversion I drove there and even posted pictures of it later that day on his Facebook page. We talked about my ideas for the 66 Malibu 2dr Nomad Conversion I am currently doing. Ken mentioned how Wagons were gaining in popularity and told us about their plans for a Vista Cruiser 442 style Wagon that they were going to build. This is that Visa Cruiser and another fine example of the awesome cars they build. I would love to win the Lottery and have a Lingenfelter drivetrain in one of my builds. My son and I also saw a couple of cars in the collection that could be bought but for now we will keep dreaming.
That is the kind of station wagon I need to go grocery shopping. Does the AC work and does it have power windows and a way-back seat?
The Vista Cruiser has a 650HP Lingenfelter supercharged EF LS3 engine with a 6 speed Tremec Tranny. The video in the original post does have some under the hood footage.
