Has some potential but definitely not a $3800 wagon.

I'm a GM guy but still think these have a lot of style. Would like to find a clean one.

Another useless trivia fact, John Lennon and Yoko Ono had a 74 model, and drove it all over the US. It was their favorite trip vehicle, and was still owned and parked in a garage in New York City the day John was shot.

Actually it was a 72. Here's a cool article about it.

I'd offer $1800 but, driving it from Oregon to IN might be of concern. It does have potential and quite honestly, if it wasn't rusted out even with the faded grain it would be one to save from the derby crowd.

When you're ready, give me a heads-up and I'll drive 'over the hill' and check it out.

Someone once told me a story of a 1970s Ford LTD wagon. It looked perfectly fine on the top, but when they took the seats out the floor fell apart. So the guy who bought it drove it as it was close to falling apart under him (Not that he drove it for a long time but it sounded like he drove it at least 50 miles.) So be careful!

Thank you. Oregon is a bit far for me although I have drove through the state when I was considering moving to the Seattle area years ago. Gotta love Crater Lake.

Thank you for your concern. I'm pretty familiar with the setup on these cars as I've also owned B-Bodies and E-Bodies. It's pretty easy to see the holes because of the unibody setup.
