Like-new looking 1989 Caprice Estate - premium price but it looks possibly worth it. One owner with 83k miles and all options. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/cto/4692222152.html
Well, that's nice that the Mrs. made some home-made seat covers to protect the original upholstery and all, but it still would be nice to see the actual car upholstery..........
Yeah, and by 89 it would be a Olds 307, not a 305. Choice of tag words is a bit ??? also, I mean if you are wanting/looking for a "Rav4" or a "Expedition" as example and use that as your search, chances are you are not even gona open the link for a station wagon
So, the 305 was not offered at all in the CE wagons by 1989? This is the nicest CE wagon I've seen remotely close to me since I started looking. Just wish the price wasn't quite so high....and the 307 would be a deal breaker for me.
I certainly hope this wagon wasn't used in the Youtube video referenced in the seller's CL ad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_XGoNQFFXM
What I gather from Wikipedia is Pontiac, Buick, and of course Olds wagons had the 307 Olds and that's it from 1981 and up. The Chevy's still had the 305, 1985 being the last year and then the carbureted Olds 307 was the only engine for all wagons to 1990, the 89+90's produced a neck snapping 140HP ( some service wagon chevys as police did get 350's in the early 80's)
That is NOT the same station wagon as the one used in the Peak commercial... This wagon has cornering lamps... The one in the Peak commercial does not. ....leave it to Me to notice THAT subtlety... Hahaha
