I'm Don from Toronto,Ohio and have spent the last 4 years on my wagon. Still some work to complete but now that I'm retired and older the pace has slowed but I drive it alot and get good comments. My last restore was a VW bus.
Welcome to the forum. Nice pictures and great looking wagon. Have fun being retired. NO reason to hurry anymore. What you don't get done today will wait----till the day after tomorrow!
Welcome to the SWF..... Nice job on your '63 Fairlane. Always thought Ford did a good job on the 'mini-Galaxie' styling of the '63. Jump right in and join us in our discussions! Marshall
Hello Don Nice to see another Ford on the board. to The Best board you could ever join Nice color choice on the Wagon Looks Good.
Thanks guys, I spend hours looking at pics on this sight and reading about the wagons. I'm sort of old school when it comes to my cars. My wagon was all original 221 small block and 2-speed automatic. I built a hefty 302 and put in a 4-speed. Runs very strong and fun to drive. Wife says I go back to being sixteen when I get on it. This is a keeper for me and hope to do another wagon.
Welcome Don. Fine looking wagon, nice restoration. Must've been fun getting the 302 in there. Is that an Overdrive trans? I know we've got a lot of towns and cities with same names in Canada and the USA. I didn't know there was a Toronto in the USA. Thank your lucky stars you don't have the Ford Brothers trying to run your city. Toronto, Ontario is one our most populated. For some reason, these 2 brothers got elected last time, and in just one term, became a story for the National Enquirer. Drugs, gang connections, corruption. and they're running again! No shame. No moral compass. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toron...city-resources-for-mayoral-campaign-1.2787221
